Former Michigan CB Jourdan Lewis arrested on domestic violence charges

Former Michigan standout and projected early round NFL draft pick Jourdan Lewis has been accused of assaulting his 20-year-old girlfriend, Ann Arbor police Detective Lt. Matthew Lige said.

The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office has authorized a domestic violence charge against Lewis after police came to his home early Wednesday morning following a domestic violence call

According to Lige, his girlfriend called the police, but officers initially were unable to determine who the responsible party was at the scene. Lewis will be arraigned through the 15th District Court at an unknown time and date.

Lewis’ arrest raises yet another domestic violence flag on another high-profile college football player, in a list that’s becoming too long.
